We may be confined in our own bitter winter that never leaves us. The clouds never part for the warmth of the sun that we use to feel like pressing your face against the cheek of God. Right now we only look back to the good old days where we felt alive. It may be hard to see hope in the future in the midst of our agony, but let me tell you something the enemy hates. There is hope. You can lean on God’s staff to hold you up. His hands are holding your head up. Let me tell you. Just let me tell you. Open your sails on your boat because the breath of God is gusting your way to begin a new life, here and the next.
The illness can leave you broken, depressed, and hopeless. What ever you do or say, may it reflect God’s love and grace. We live for Jesus as He lives for us forever and into eternity. When life puts a knife in between your ribs, just remember our wounds and pain have already been dealt with on the cross, may you find peace. When life strikes you out of no where, turn your cheek. Let the world see how you deal with this. Like a single candle in the dark, we will shine like a lighthouse on a cliff out to the ocean of God’s love, calling to other lost souls that they might find redemption.
Don’t be so hard on yourself. No body can understand your pain like God can and if they could they would crumble over the weight. We wonder why God would let things that hurt us to continue, but if we look at Heavens perspective you would see that everything is working for the better of out good for God’s glory. You would know that God loves you and always has. There will be an incredible reunion one day when we leave this world to go home. We might think we are alone, but we know that’s just one big lie. We know that God is on the other side calling us home, arms open wide. There is hope for you. The hand of Christ is always open for you to grasp to bring you up when you’re heavily burdened.
He will paint a beautiful picture out of our ashes. We make mistakes. God will turn them into blessings. When we think we scuffed up our life just know that God is more powerful through our brokenness. The more shattered we are can allow us to see God move mountains and calm storms. He who lives in us is more powerful than he who lives in the world. Do not be afraid of anything. If God is for us who can be against us? Fear is a tool the enemy uses to loosen the rope we cling to, that we may lose hope and come undone. Fear is a lie. Let the Truth of the Lord Jesus shine through God’s Holy Word.
“We are like a mustard seed. One of the smallest seeds that grow to be some of earths largest trees. We are small, but powerful.”
“A stone cast into the ocean will sink. We won’t drown because God is our life vest, keeping us above water.”
“We are like a cloud in the sky. Each is unique to their own shape, blameless.”
Jesus we pray in your name to part the clouds and shine your loving grace onto us.
Please help us to be a helping hand in your Heavenly ministry.
Thank you for your power and awe. We await the coming of Christ in church and everyday.
We pray for peace, healing, and understanding.
In Jesus we pray, amen.
