OK, so some months back I wrote about season 3 of Orphan Black, initially expressing my disappointment in it, then later, having watched the remainder of the season, revising my estimate to one of rave review. Well, lightning, it hath struck twice, since I just finished season 4, and having been thoroughly underwhelmed at first--and very nearly abandoning the show for good (they have one more season slated, I figured it was time to bail out)--I luckily stuck with it, and by the end was on the edge of my seat. Maybe it's that novel, complex shows sometimes need time to set up upcoming events or plot developments--I've noticed this with other shows, and book series; and the thing to do is just bear with it until they get there. That certainly was the case here, as I am now as eager as the engorged male protagonist of one of those films I mentioned in the "What's the last film you watched..." thread for next season to begin. Real cliffhanger ending to this season.
